Since I have a couple of 6″ mirror blanks and need to get back into the mirror grinding groove for upcoming large telescope projects, I’ve started grinding a 6″ F/3.3 EWF Newtonian to use for wide field astro-imaging. The telescope mirror is currently being ground although the cold weather has pretty much made it hard to get out in the garage since it needs to be warmed up etc. before anything can be done. Time to cocoon and plan for the springtime 🙂
