Despite temperatures over 30C and high humidexes driving temps towards 40C I managed (with many breaks to cool down!) to get a yard of topsoil and half a pallet (30 strips) of sod down to remediate the damage done by the shed sitting on the lawn for 20 years. A few days of rain are in the forecast which will keep the grass nicely watered! I’ve extracted six cottage blocks from the ground and left them on the pad to be used for my new micro-observatory. I have about a week of holidays coming up so hopefully I can make some progress on the new building!
